Travel 8: Relocating

Relocating Last updated 8 April 2009.
There are two ways you can relocate.

1st way: To be teleported by the assistant removalist (for beginners)

There is an assistant removalist who can relocate you in 3 clicks. He will teleport you along with your items to a village of your choice.

This extremely simplified assistant can be found in your town, under the display panel. You cannot use it if you are in any other village than your own.

The location of the assistant removalist

It is necessary to respect the suitability criteria for each village, at the same time those for visitors and those for new inhabitants.

Another disadvantage, once teleported you will have the evil of teleportation, i.e. you will not be able to move using this method for several days.

2nd way: On foot with bags and sheep (for experts)

It is the most traditional method and the nicest way to move, but it requires that you have mastered the villages (if it is not the case read the preceding pages of this guide).

Initially, take all your sheep with you and the maximum number of items (think of equipping your sheep with travel bags).

Once in a village with your sheep, if you like that village, you can settle there, provided you fill the requirements of the village. To do so, go to the town centre, click on “Municipality” then on “Relocate”.

Click on details to see the detail of the expenses.

In the event you left sheep or items in your old village.

Case where one forgot sheep and objects

If you have left sheep or items in your sheepfold as in the example above, they will be reclaimable at the following tariff:
  • 100 fetis per missing sheep

  • 2 fetis per missing item

It's very important to take the maximum amount of items with your sheep when you move!

When you move, the items which you had on sale in the other market are left on sale. You will have to return physically to be able to box or withdraw the sale items.

Once in your new town, try to take part in the local life. The wall is an excellent means to sympathise with other people.
